We believe that your wedding should encompass all that you are and all that is important to you. Each and every fine detail makes for a faultless, magical and memorable day. Ensuring that you have the perfect day is incredibly important to us. Our attentive team will be on hand to help you with everything from planning, decorating your venue, to the smooth running of the day itself.
Ceremony
Anchor Barrow is a legal licensed wedding venue, meaning that you are able to legally marry right here on site. There are 3 licensed areas the Pergola, the Canopy and the Barn.
This means that your entire day can all be held at one location you will then not require transport for you or your guests.
If you prefer something personal, Celebrant ceremonies are also an option, although they are not legally binding.
Celebrant ceremonies offer you the opportunity to celebrate your love and relationship in a way that best represents you as a couple.
Food & Drink
Food
If you appreciate great food then Anchor Barrow is the venue for you. Our head chef Mikey has a wealth of experience working in local pubs up to high end rosette fine dining. He is passionate about using locally sourced, seasonal, quality produce.
We can guarantee that dishes and grazing boards will all beas impressive in flavour as they are in appearance.
Drink
The site has its own Cornish stocked Barrow Bar. It has an impressive array of Cornish spirits and local draught beers and ciders. We work directly with the distilleries and brewery’s who educate us on how best to ensure the perfect serve for you and your guests.
We can provide beautiful welcome cocktails, a great selection of table wines and delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout your day.
Accommodation
Camping
At Anchor Barrow we offer camping for up to 100 pitches for the whole weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you wish to set up your venue over the days prior and stay elsewhere this is not a problem and you would be most welcome. Our facilities are new, modern and always spotlessly clean - and exclusively yours.
Stay
You and your guests can bring your own accommodation or alternatively there are lots of local companies that rent out bell tents, pods and vans etc. We offer both electric and non-electric pitches and full use of the facilities throughout.
We have St Georges Guest House right at the end of our field which could provide accommodation for any guests that prefer not to camp.
Entertainment
Music
Background music of your choice can be played via Bluetooth out in the courtyard and in the barn through our sound system. Should you wish to have Live music you are able to do so.
Throughout the camping season, we regularly welcome local artists during our Feast Nights both outdoors and inside the barn.
Silent Disco
Should you and your guests wish to continue to party into the night you are more than welcome to utilise our Silent Disco equipment loaded with Music Playlists of your choice.
Our Silent Disco headphones allow you to choose from 3 different channels, each featuring unique playlists curated for everyone's taste—from upbeat dance tracks to sing-along classics.
